Good evening! I’m being featured over at On a Lobster Placemat’s Worker Bee Series tonight. Check it out! You can see me hard at work. Or at least pretending to be :O).
I made a delightful supper tonight. It featured a recipe I’ve made once before – Hot Cinnamon Glazed Sweet Potatoes with Yogurt. It’s from the book The Skinny: How to Fit Into Your Little Black Dress Forever. So not only is it so yummy – if you eat it you’ll be skinny forever! Hm, wouldn’t that be nice. I’d love to share exactly how I made them, but I think that’s against some kind of law. Instead, you can see the final product.
I had a mix of potatoes on hand, so that’s what I used. The recipe uses cinnamon and cayenne pepper, hence the hot and sweetness. So good! Plus, as they baked the whole kitchen filled up with a lovely cinnamon aroma which is always a nice bonus :O). On the side I had an avocado with green goddess dressing in the middle.
Tonight is the highlight of my week because it’s Top Chef night! I missed last week so I’m going to do a back-to-back viewing. In related news, guess where my friends and I are going this month…VOLT!! I want to die of excitement :O))). Top Chef will take on a whole new level of fun now since I’ll also be able to dream of all the delicious things I’ll be eating at Brian Voltaggio’s restaurant in a few short weeks. I may not be lucky enough to get the Top Chefs to cook for me personally, but I’ll take what I can get!
Night night.

Yum, that looks amazing!
Hey there! Just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Your Blog is Over the top award over at http://www.saladcraze.com/2009/11/bad-bad-salad-girl.html
Love your blog!
Thank you so much Bonnie! For some awful reason, my computer does not let me comment on your blog!! But I love yours too :O). Wish I could tell you over there!
Dinner looks wonderful! I was annoyed last night that there was a “Top Chef Reunion Dinner” instead of a real episode! I didn’t like the dinner at all- boring! What did you think?
Yes, boring indeed! I actually ended up turning it off :O(.
Thanks again for being a worker bee 🙂
