We’re busy bees over here getting ready for our Eater feast tonight. My trifle is ready and in the fridge, looking pretty delish if I do say so myself! :).
I was a big lame-o last night and went to bed super early so I was up before 8 today which is unheard of for me on the weekend. But with all this sunshine I do not mind! I had breakfast right when I woke up…it’s definitely smoothie weather.
A smoothie of a cup of vanilla soy milk, a banana, 6 frozen strawberries and a tbsp. of chia seeds. I had a piece of the blueberry pound cake that’s in tonight’s dessert with a smear of almond butter too…just to make sure it wasn’t poison before our guests help themselves :). And coffee, always coffee.
After breakfast I put together phase one of the dessert and headed out for a lovely run. Post-run I went to the gym for a bit to strength train. It was one of those days where I was feeling a good work-out, you know??
So I’m making this quick so I can get away from the computer and back in the great outdoors. See ya tomorrow with an Easter dinner re-cap! It will be good :).
